Three years after the demise of Jurassic World, a volcanic eruption threatens the remaining dinosaurs on the isla Nublar, so Claire Dearing, the former park manager, recruits Owen Grady to help prevent the extinction of the dinosaurs once again.
I normally wouldn’t write a review but I felt like I had to. This movie went extremely dark and that’s not the series I am used to I felt like it wasn’t plot driven but mere evil just for the sake of evil. If your expecting an adventure with light hearted quips this isn’t it. I don’t know what made them believe that this was a logical step for the sequel but it’s a mistake needless to say I’m disappointed and a little disturbed.
Good, Solid, Fun
There will always be haters...and... there will always be viewers who claim the movie is the best film they ever watched in their entire life!
My take on it is between the two - not the best, and not the worst - but still good. It was exciting, interesting, and plausible considering the recent events in China with rogue scientists beginning a process to clone humans.
Pratt and Howard have the chemistry to anchor the stories and carry the plot. It would be good to see them in a romcom or thriller together without the dinosaurs....
As expected, the CGs were especially well rendered. Besides the details related to all the dinos, I loved the volcanic eruption scene.... It might be my favorite. It was especially interesting to see it on a theater's big screen, but watching it on an HD monitor is exciting, too.
Perfect example of...
...capitalization and stupidity. The entire film screams bullish!t, poor writing, poor acting, (the child actor being probably the worst I’ve seen in recent memory) terrible plot, and cliche after cliche with repeated ‘action’ sequences that come off as boring, overdone, fake and poorly shot as some crappy Michael Bay found footage uncovered from his high school film class that his grandmother had stored in her attic somewhere. The fact that anyone could honestly watch the trailer and immediately not cringe is astounding. The industry’s intent is never more clearly evident than with these examples of useless film. It only received 2 stars because Chris Pratt seems to be a great guy and decent actor. The same cannot be said for the rest of the cast.
BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!
I loved this movie there was never anything wrong with it. I saw the trailer for JW: The Extinction. It looks really good and sad. If Blue dies no one will ever watch JW again! But please keep up the good work and don’t let those haters ruin anything for you!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
