Failed architect, engineer and vicious murderer Jack tells Verge the details of some of his most elaborately orchestrated crimes, each of them a towering piece of art that defines his life's work as a serial killer for twelve years.
This is a very graphic violent film first off. Queasy need not apply. Considering the structure of the film as a whole, I believe the metaphor that is presented to the viewer is a beautiful representation of the way we lead our lives. We’re all building houses that one day we will have to dwell in after we complete its construction.
Matt Dillion was created for this role.
If you take this film at face value, it’s a gritty horror film from the perspective of the killer.
If you can look into the mind of the director you will see a cautionary tale reminding us the reality we see in our personal lives isn’t the same the human race lives in. I choose a four star rating simply because the frequent camera shifting during points of the movie added nothing for me. Wonderful for the deep thinkers.
Horrible,it’s just odd, a lot of unnecessary dialogue I’m glad I had fast forward,,I deleted the movie from my library,,suxs,,
