Zain, a 12-year-old boy scrambling to survive on the streets of Beirut, sues his parents for having brought him into such an unjust world, where being a refugee with no documents means that your rights can easily be denied.
I still can’t believe that those actors are first time actors. I’ve watched this masterpiece for three times and every time I cry when leaving the theater. It’s definitely a must see movie. Nadine Labaki never fails to impress us.
Words can’t express the way I feel about this movie. An emotional roller coaster with outstanding story, cinematography, directing and performances. So proud of Nadine and Zayn. Nothing can top off Zayn’s performance in this movie or the visuals Nadine brought out on screen.
